Om of Medicine is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting registered medical cannabis patients and caregivers obtain medication in a safe, professional, and comforting environment.
To become a member at our location, you must have a Medical Marijuana Patient or Caregiver Card issued by the State of Michigan, or the appropriate paperwork. This includes: your driver’s license or state ID, a physician’s certification, your Lara Form or state application, the payment method, and a certified mail receipt showing proof that the State of Michigan has received your paperwork from your doctor’s visit. For these documents to be valid in place of a medical card, 21 business days need to have passed since the State of Michigan received your paperwork as it takes three weeks to process your paperwork and get you registered.
If you do not send in all the required parts of your application, or if there is an error in the paperwork, it may be denied. The state will then send a denial letter via certified mail explaining what to do next. You may need to redo your paperwork with your doctor and send it out a second time, and begin the 3 week waiting period again, starting with the date that the State of Michigan received your new, corrected paperwork. Once the full 21 business days have passed, you will be able to become a member of our facility and have access to your medication.
