Have you consumed too much THC?

First, take some deep breaths and remind yourself that everything will be okay!

No one has ever overdosed from consuming too much cannabis and you will not be the first!

Use these tips to help ground yourself:
  1. Take 5 deep breaths while imagining a purple prism forming a protection bubble around your mind.

    This will help lower your heart rate and address anxious or paranoid thoughts.

  2. Find a space or position that you feel safe and secure.

    Examples: your bed, in nature, cuddling with a pet

  3. Take a high dose of CBD to directly reduce the intoxicating effects of THC.

  4. Drink water! It is important to stay hydrated and can help with any dry mouth and dizziness.

    Drink lemon water/lemonade to help direct THC towards giving a more uplifting/giggly experience.

  5. Try out a relaxing activity that you know well.

    Examples: knitting, watching your favorite sitcom, listen to an album you love

Repeat this mantra:

"I am in control of my experience. I am aware that this too will pass."

**Cannabis is incredibly safe and non-toxic to your body. Even though you may feel like you are dying, you aren’t!** You just took a little too much THC and have overactivated your endocannabinoid system. These sensations may feel intense, but please find safety in knowing this experience is temporary and will pass.
